Set omschrijving:
Deze set bestaat uit de nieuwste gear van Neilpryde en JP . Neilpryde heeft zijn jaren lange windsurf kennis gebruikt om naast de inmiddels bekende Fly wings nu ook een nieuwe FIRE FLY te ontwikkelen.  
De Neilpryde Foil set is een bewezen goede basis. De sets zijn compleet compatible met de verschillende neilpryde foils. De glide serie is zeer geschikt om mee te starten, maar ook om later te kunnen uibreiden met meer foils. Zodra je meer zoekt uit je foil kan je deze set upgraden met bijvoordbeeld Neilpryde Swift front wings.
Het board is de nieuwe JP Xwinger IPR. Een in 2024 nieuwe shape gemaakt als stabiel board dat je snel op foil brengt.

The Wing: NEILPRYDE FIRE FLY 2024

an all new design optimized for freestyle and surf.

The FireFly combines the NP high lift concept (introduced on the original Fly to deliver both take off
early AND light responsive handling) with a host of new features developed over a year of close collaboration with
our Freestyle and Wave test team – significantly reduced wingspan for rotational maneuvers and wave riding,
the new NP Mono Handle that functions like a boom but adds the drop grip feature, and a simplified airframe with
 stiffer feel for smoother drifting and tricks that require backwinded riding.

This unique feature set also makes the FireFly arguably the best wing on the market for schools and beginners.

Riders can use a smaller size and still be confident in their take off,

the Mono handle makes that first grab and maneuvers as easy as possible, and the shorter
wing span makes it better suited for kids and smaller riders.

  This lightweight and durable carbon handle provides all the advantages of a boom
  and then takes it a step further by integrating the drop grip and ergonomics of the
  industry leading handles on the NP Fly.

The Board: JP X-WINGER IPR 2024

Our all-new X-Winger boards are longer and narrower compared to their predecessors. They feature many new shape details which make them more versatile and agile providing a better and smoother handling overall. Most importantly they are much more efficient and superior in all aspects supporting the performance of the board.

The longer, narrower hull and the flat nose rocker provide a better glide, accelerating quicker, allowing an easier take-off with a smooth transition into flight mode. The clearly defined rails help transferring the lift created by the bottom surface efficiently into buoyancy which additionally supports the take-off. These shape features work together improving additional characteristics:

On occasional touchdowns the board bounces off the water surface gently and smoothly without losing speed and in this respect is significantly more efficient and comfortable than its predecessor.

The nose outline is pulled-in to reduce the swing weight and improve the airflow. To compensate for the lower volume of the pulled-in nose outline, we added slightly more thickness in this area. Still, the narrower nose results in a lighter feel and a more agile ride.

The slightly concave standing area provides a direct feel over the foil.

The tail features more rocker. Once in the air, this additional bottom curve lifts the nose resulting in a better flight position of the board. This reduces unwanted contact with the water when flying and provides a more comfortable stance. On top of that it creates more pop for jumps and generates extra hight.

The X-Wingers feature unique tail cut-outs this year! They reduce volume and bottom width in the tail area allowing for a more efficient pumping motion in order to generate the required lift via the foil. You also can rail the board up harder during turns without the tail catching. On occasional touchdowns, the cut-outs help reduce drag and maintain speed.

Technical details

The boards feature long track boxes providing a big tuning range for the foil. The tracks are embedded in PU blocks running all the way from deck to bottom and creating a extremely stable construction.

Additionally, the boards come with high density PVC panels in deck and bottom offering an unmatched ratio of stiffness and low weight in connection with the Innegra rail reinforcement.
